Fifteen years, 5 months of age at the time of Raid. Fireman on the Texas with Peter J. Bracken. Left railroad and joined Atlanta Fire Department January 6, 1885. Retired December 2, 1919, as First Assistant Chief of Atlanta Fire Department.

Born November 25, 1846 to Thomas Haney (b. Belfast, Ireland, 1812; employed by Western Atlantic Railroad first as engineer and later as shop machinist; d. July 20, 1901).

Died November 19, 1923.

Buried Casey Cemetery, Atlanta.

Listed with others for the Fuller Medal of 1950.
